A/P
  • Echo to r/o vegetations
  • MRI pan-spine w/wo - must image the entire spine before you operate
  • Surg ID C/s
  • BCx
  • Cervical/Thoracic EDA are operative emergencies: thrombophlebitis and cord ischemia can cause sudden irreversible paralysis
